    Snow accumulation amounts 1 vs 3 hr

      I've found that snow accumulation amounts are different depending if the 1hr or 3hr forecasts are showing.

      For example (using 3hr forecast), shows 0.3cm at 1pm and 0.4cm at 4pm, but in the 1hr forecasts shows only 0.2cm at 3pm and nothing at 2, 3, 4 or 5pm.

        I haven’t checked it with snow but if Windy doesn’t show the snowfall below 0.1cm, that might explain this inconsistency. I will check that more carefully.

        I seem to remember that the ECMWF model transforms rainfall into snowfall at low temperature with the ratio 1mm of rain = 1cm of snow, or 0.1mm of rain = 0.1cm of snow. And you know that 0.2 cm of snow is about nothing.
