Speeding up animation

Hi. Have just purchased windy premium. Believe one of the benefits is that I now have an hourly (instead of 2-3?) forecasting?
It’s now really slow and takes too long to go through a forecast animation. Is there a way to speed it up? I realise you can slide the rule along at the bottom but not quite the same.

Hi @george-obrien unfortunately, it is not possible to speed this up, since, as you said, there is an option to move this rule manually to get certain data.

@george-obrien I agree, in the current state, the play button is essentially useless as the animation / moving through time is so slow.
It would be great to have an option to increase the speed of animations - particularly for pro users using 1hr forecast data.

@Ondřej-Šutera other weather apps allow to select speed of map animation. It can be done. Will you?

I Agree since I purchased premium the slow loading and reduced speed of animation without the option to change speed or interval is not worth it.

the same feeling for me!, i upgraded since one month and now animation speed seems too low,
i believe that always the developers can find a solution!

@Ondřej-Šutera Hi again. :) People have been asking for this for a while. As people point out, if you subscribe then the animations go even slower. Please encourage the devs to put an animation speed control.

The frame rate determines how many frames are displayed per second. By increasing the frame rate, the animation will appear smoother and faster. however, be caustions not to be increase it too much as it may result in a choppy or unnatural-looking animation. If you have control over the duration of each time frame then you can reduce the time each frame is displayed. the effectiveness speeds up the animation by decreaseing.

@Ondřej-Šutera I agree. It would be nice to be able to speed up the animation. I’m disappointed with the premium because of this.

It shouldn´t be too complicated to automatisize it behind a ⏩ button. -
