Basic forecast at specific altitude
-
I am a paraglider, and use windy a lot to try work out when will be flyable. Take-off is usually around 500m and the wind speed and direction are the most important factors in deciding to fly.
When sliding the altitude slider to 600m there is no update to the basic forecast, which means there is no quick easy to read way to check which upcoming days have good potential to fly without scrolling through the timeline and checking the sounding, (the meteiog and airgram are focused on higher altitudes and are not particularly easy to read for the altitudes of interest, especially at a glance)
Is there a way to have the basic forecast update with the selected altitude? It would make identifying flying locations and days much easier. I think this would also be great for hiking.
Thank you.

@FIREotter Hello, the altitude slider only affects the map; the change is not reflected in the detailed forecast. So the recommendation is to use Meteogram and Airgram or look at the map.
I would also recommend using Sounding.

@Korina @FIREotter I am also missing forecast for higher altitude.
My use case is Mount Kazbegi, Georgia, where we are planning to go.
I select altitude 5500m, weather picker shows correctly -11C, forecast does not reflect it.

@Tali Unfortunately, the forecast is not changed with the altitude, so in this case, you need to get info only from the picker.
