<![CDATA[meteogram on different computers is totally different]]>Hey,

I just loaded up a meteogram on my laptop while discussing this with somebody. The person showed the meteogram on her computer and to by surprise they where totally different.

On looking up closer inspection it seems like the Meteogram are updated at different times 9h vs 4h.

It could be that I was logged i into windy and the other person not? Although windy is not a official weather source for us (aviation) it looks rather dangerous to me that there can be so much difference. and perhaps there should be some sort of a way for windy to warn us that the predictions are totally different?

hmm ... you know... sometimes we see a drastic change in the latest run
and ... the next one shows the same forecast as the first one (the pre-previous).
It's called "forecast jumpiness".

A more recent forecast can be worse than a previous one, and often with increasing forecast range it becomes increasingly likely that the 12 or 24 hours older forecast is the better one."

might be a good idea to warn people of such a drastic change. I can only imagine people plan around this...

Those meteograms come from different model runs.
As I see you have a premium account (4 updates per 24hrs).
Maybe the other person has no such account
and has 2 updates per 24hrs.
