Start-up radius

Can the radius be changed, shown on a map at the start-up?
When I open Windy on my phone, I have a radius of around 500km - 800km shown when I only want to see the conditions for my area and maybe a 20 - 40km radius.

On my mac, it is even more. At start-up, I see an area as big as Europe from Scotland down to Central Africa when I am interested only in my closer area.
