Zoom feature in satellite layer
-
Zoom out feature doesn't reach to all countries view I.e. Earth view in satellite layer .
-
The Satellite layer is not available beyond 73°N and 73°S. This is due to the map projection in 2D which greatly distorts the polar regions.
What country would you like to see with Satellite layer? -
Zoom out should be enough to see entire continents (north to South America spanning view) from Pacific Ocean. occurs on mobile website.
Something like this zoomed out:

What you show are only drawings !
You should understand that satellite pictures (photos) would see their resolution dropping dramatically over polar regions (beyond than 73°N or 73°S). Satellite images over these regions would be distorted and stretched, and therefore would show a very low resolution, becoming consequently very blurry.
You can easily see that the quality of satellite images are already not so good from 65° to 73° latitude. This is due to the Mercator-like projection used for Windy maps. -
This is the farthest it reaches:
This is how it should look without the bug:

@idefix37 apologies for the misunderstood.
Satellite layer needs to be in Earth mode as well.
