@Stalker31796 Hi, unfortunately nothing was ever free in the Windy. "Free" just means someone else is buying it for you. Our business model allows almost everything to stay free thanks to people willing to pay for subscription. We found it to be sustainable. Our previous "business model" was such that one sponsor paid for everything. It was not sustainable as the Windy grew rapidly.

@Stalker31796 I agree with your opinion, two important features ( satellite imagery for the outdoor map & observation vs forecast ) have been moved to the paid version recently, that was expected for me; because you ( Windy team ) have done something similar before.

I have a Windy premium account and I can get on my iPhone or windows laptop. I have loaded your app onto my Raymarine Axiom chart plotter ani appears to work. But if I try to logon to through the chart plotter it always returns with an error and try again later. The chart plotter is connected to the internet and other apps work fine but no Windy.
What gives? Please reply to my logon email

Route Planner:
It is a nice idea, it would be a great tool, but having tried it a bunch of times it is kind of like a root canal without the pain killers.
Trying to use the Route Planner to actually plan a sailing route is a pretty frustrating experience.
Please keep working on it, it would be a great feature if it worked.

May be you missed some setting?
What for you is not working? -

Hi there , many thanks for a great app. Is there a possibility to add the amount of rain that fell in areas like in one of the other apps … the only reason I use the other app is for current rainfall and what rain amount is expected over that specific week .

In Windy you can use the Rain accumulation layer. But it is for the next days, and particularly over the next 5 or 10 days, not 7 days. -

Will Windy Premium give me all the data for a recorded station going back years? I am looking at a METAR station and WMO station and I want ot know if I can access 10 years worth of station data or not to be able to calculate averages (average max temp, min temp, rainfall days/rainfall total).
Also, when a station shows 0.2mm, is this accurate? Or could it be caused by high humidity in that station being interepreted as rainfall?
