With all of these changes are we going to get displays of "Feels Like" to take into account Wind Chill and Heat Index information like every other forecasting site does? I live in Wisconsin. The temperature itself is fairly useless in the winter as the Wind Chill is what it really feels like outside.

Apart from the changes, Windy stays ad-free with most its features still free of charge.
Looking at the current reductions from the windy free version, I think some/many users will be ok with some ads instead of having to pay.

@Korina You haven't answered any of my iquiries, instead you are talking about the app, there is no need to do so, I have already used all of the features that the app provides and learned how great they are and this what made me disagree with these new changes.
Relating to advertisements, you are now showing ads wthin the app prompting free users to be premium users, some of them is eating the screen area ( like the one in the favourites list and the one near the profile picture ), didn't you check this by yourself? What do you think of your users?!

Hello I am a daily free user for at least 2 years. I always checked windy app first for weather forecast and I appreciate the effort your team has made since now to improve the quality and the quantity of weather or non weather related information. Sadly I am disappointed by the fact that in the last update you have made you are removing functions that were already available for free users like 7 to 10 day forecast . I am currently searching for other platforms as I am unable to pay for windy premium. Forcing people to pay for something they already had was never a good idea.

@Ahmed-A-AS Good thing NOAA still provides many 12 hour loops for free which was available until this removal of free features to those that cannot afford to subscribe to 20 different sites. I'll be uninstalling Windy at my next spree of empty time from not browsing other free weather data sites.

Thanks for pay walling more features! As I am unable to pay ANOTHER awful subscription (as everything seems to be a bloody subscription nowadays) Ill be sure to uninstall the app and find an alternative.

@Ahmed-A-AS You are mixing ads with our own promo banners for Windy Premium. That is not the same. We are not showing 5 10s ad videos within the app/desktop like so many other apps, that would actually be intrusive and unpleasant.

@N-Penney @crimson6858 I am sorry that you feel this way. We are not forcing anyone to purchase Premium. The fact is that Windy and a major part of its features is still accessible for free.

@Korina as I mentioned above, I think you should consider an ad supported free version instead of removing existing features. Two main features for me that were removed were unlimited favourites and 6h/12h satellite view.
We understand that nothing is free in reality, and how costly it is to provide these services. And beggars can't be choosers. But I believe this could have been handled better, and if it's a choice between loss of features or moderate ads then I'd definitely take the ad supported model.

@Korina The ad is an an ad whether you made it or not, working for you or not, static or dynamic, it has the same annoying effect ( deviatting your own ideas ). So, don't hide behind useless details.

@Korina As expected and again another maneouver, the question is very specified; because this is not my first post in this topic. it is just you have no desire - may be the ability - to answer it. You should have told early, there is no any problem - for me - in that. Take it easy.

@Korina hi! Totally understand your reasons for the changes. I’ve been enjoying your ad free app for a couple of years now in my day to day operations for my Surf School.
I do use the long range (10 day) forecast for customers wanting to book lessons for specific conditions, so I’ll probably subscribe but before I do I have a couple of questions I’m hoping you can me with.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but every time I open the app I need to reselect what it is I’m checking ( Location, Waves, then Swell 1 ). I am aware of the favourites feature, is this something I’m doing or will premium show me this info each time I open the app?
