      Mac, Safari, and Firefox

      I load
      https://www.windy.com/51.642/-9.542?51.252,-9.542,7,m:e5fafTg
Directly into the address bar, and it goes there fine, but after half a second changes to
      https://www.windy.com/51.642/-9.542?51.252,-9.542,8
Can't stop it despite clearing the cache, deleting the bookmarks, closing Safari and even restarting the Mac.
      This is really annoying.
      Same thing happens using Firefox.

      Regards,
      Ron

HI @Coomkeen may I ask why you need that parameter from URL? It is preset to hide this section after the forecast detail is open, so basically, this behavior is preset this way and it shouldn't have any effect on using our application.

@Ondřej-Šutera B because it zooms in too far.
The first one is the size and area that I need to see.
The second, the one that as you say is preset, is zoomed in and excludes areas that I need to see.
Why cannot the zoom level be left that way the user wants it?

@Coomkeen Okay, so you want to have a preset URL for a certain area, that you want to always have as a default?

              @Ondřej-Šutera Yes.
As the page loads, in a tab, by default whenever I turn the computer on, then it makes sense to display the info I want to see.
That includes all in the non-zoomed area.
Having to click the zoom out every time is crazy.

All the other 'map' type of pages work like this, so the shortcut you store includes the exact area you had when saving the shortcut.
Only Windy thinks it knows better.

@Coomkeen You can adjust your Startup location to the last one you used, so then the last position with used zoom will be waiting for your next visit to our app.

@Ondřej-Šutera This is not on an app as there isn't one for iMac.

@Coomkeen OK, finally found the setting on the web page in Safari, and it does seem to work, even after closing and re-opening Safari.
                    Problem solved.
                    Thank you.
