Routes - Planning vs Viewing

Hi Windy, new subscriber here! I just discovered the routing feature and quickly realized this is a game changer for my 1700km "commute". The problem is that I am wishing there was a way to exit "planning" mode to do other things while the route is still visible. For example:
Feature request — I found myself wishing I could interact with the map while the route was visible. For example, when the webcam layer is visible clicking on the map adds another waypoint. I'd love to be able to view the webcam images along my route to help me decide if it is safe to travel the chosen route.
Feature request — I would love to be able to "play" the route or jump from waypoint to waypoint. Such a feature would zoom and pan the map from waypoint to waypoint while updating the forecast time slider so the forecast matches the waypoint ETA.
