      There is a circular rain feature that is permanently shown in the weather radar for NSW, Australia. Not sure what causes this. It is not present on the BOM or other rain displays

      I'd be interested in knowing what causes it to display.

        @BruceHa This looks like "ground clutter". The radar beam is running into things close to ground level. Could be insects, animals, objects close to the ground, dust, that sort of stuff.
