      Hello,
Can anyone advise if there is a way of extracting hindcast data from Windy. Specifically, I am looking at being able to access previous wind and current information (from up to several days in the past). This information is to be used for maritime drift modelling in developing valide search areas in the area of Search and Rescue.

Hi, Windy does not store past data and additionally I don’t think there is a way to extract raw data from Windy.
I understand several days of wind and currents archives would be useful for estimating the drift of a boat or a life boat during your SAR operations.

Hi, I second the request. I need to look at rain forecast model & altitude wind maps for Feb 28 and March 1 for southern part of South China Sea to see how well they model the worst flood in nearly twenty years in the nearby land of southern Malay Peninsula.
And I hope you guys look at forecasts from a few days prior to see whether and how the model managed to make correct predictions. I hope to learn from your experts.
Specifically, from what I screenshot from Windy on Feb. 28, a tropical depression centered on the west coast of Borneo island was spinning northeasterly winds around from the southern Malay Peninsula into Sumatera to veer southeast. But this has been happening on and off for months. If the model actually managed to predict the extreme precipitation, there's something to it that I want to dig deeper into.

Hi, as far as Windy does not store previous weather data, there is no way to look back to the predicted weather during these 2 days.
The only thing that Windy can provide in the past is the reported wind at weather stations, but not the rain and only surface winds.

@SteveX1865 I'm after the same things, for a ROV operation.
