delete saved locations

Other posts say to select location on map for delete option but i can only get weather options, i unmarked as favorite (hollow heart) but still on favorite dropdown.
If i favorite one and go to my favorites list, sliding it over brings up a delete option, but that just unflags it, it still shows on dropdown,
Using Android.

@mrjfleming Hello, what do you mean by "dropdown"? Is it the search bar? The search bar will show the latest searched locations till it gets overwritten.

So trying a few things i misunderstood the layout, it is actually the search dropdown i am looking at. it shows my previous and current flagged history.
moving the map around to find my current favorites is not as convenient as a list, i prefer to only show favorites, but assume the search history can only be cleared by deleteing cache.

To get your list of favorites just click on your profile picture.
Yes, there is no way to clear the list of previous searched locations. They are replaced by new searches.
