Widget transparency
-
Hi there.
Another awesome update ๐
The only thing I regret about it is loss of widget transparency control.
It went from being fully able to control transparency of entire widget to only controling a widget frame. It would be amazing to get this back.
Thanks in advance

Hi @MilkoOk, if you talk about radar or webcam widgets, they will get some changes in the future. On the other hand, transparency mode was removed since the difference between those visuals was almost negligible.

Thanks for your prompt response and shared info Ondลej ๐
Radar widget was my reference and I'm just saying, to have that ability back to make entire widget transparent would be amazing.
Thanks ๐

@MilkoOk
I agree. Transparency mode is one of my favorite features on the radar map. Please bring it back. -
@Briandougt @MilkoOk Hello, the transparent widget will be added back in approximately one month with the planned release.

Really appreciate that! Thanks for intention to bring widget transparency back!

@Korina Big Thank You guys for fixing this in two update cycles ๐
However I don't think it was done right.
It was perfect before in a way that transparency was adjustable only for base layer filling on top of which country borders, city names, location and radar animation were solid. Precisely the way we can still control transparency for daily forecast widgets.
As it is now everything is locked into same transparency and adjustable only if we pick "Dark" or "Bright" mode, adjust brightness than lock it with choosing "Transparent".
If we can have it as before or as daily forecast widgets it would be amazing.
Thanks in advance

@MilkoOk We did not change anything for these widgets. Please use the widget's settings to adjust the transparency.

@Korina Fully updated Galaxy A52 here and since last Windy update I can make radar widget transparent where before I couldn't.
The thing is that all layers are locked and transparent together which wasn't the case before.
This is now
and before
