Mt Teidi, Tenerife - feedback

We were just up there at Boca Tauce and the temperature was 2 degrees with snow. Windy shows 10 degrees and OK conditions. The summit circa 3000m was -6 according to information.

In mountain the global models are not very accurate, due to their resolution 9km with ECMWF and to their coarse orography model.
With the Sounding forecast feature, you see that Pico de Teide at 3700m is “seen” at 1684m by the model.
Same to Boca Tauce at 2035m is “seen” at 1495m. This explains the temperature inaccuracy.
