Radar data unavailable in China
-
Hi, the radar data above China appears to be entirely missing now. It is a total blank.
The old data is probably provided by http://eng.nmc.cn/info.html (I clicked the logo down the right), but it is now redirected me to http://www.wmc-bj.net/. Visiting the old website gives me 404, and the new website is now working. Could you please check it and update it when available?
Many thanks.

@Mingxuan Thank you for the source recommendation.
There is a data outage on our provider side, so we don't show any data for China now. But we will look into this source. -

@Mingxuan Thank you for the info. I am unable to find any radar images on the source you mentioned (http://www.wmc-bj.net/).
Could you clarify? Thank you -
@Filip_K Hello. Sorry for the misleading information. http://www.wmc-bj.net/ is where I get redirected after http://eng.nmc.cn/info.html is unavailable. There is no radar graph on that website.
Instead, I've found two available sources: http://www.weather.com.cn/radar/index2021.shtml or http://www.nmc.cn/publish/radar/chinaall.html for the current radar map released by the Chinese government (Sorry it's all Chinese, but I assume http://www.nmc.cn/publish/radar/chinaall.html is easier for your data plug-in as it comes from the same source (nmc) as the old unavailable one. ).
If there's anything unclear please let me know :) Love the works you guys do, and I've learned a lot about meteorology from windy.
Best wishes

@Mingxuan Thank you for the sources. At first glance, both sites provide same image and it's in quite low resolution (825x739 pixels for whole China) and it is cluttered with city labels and borders. We'll see what we can do but using source like this is unfortunately quite low on our priority list.
If you know of any other source (preferably in higher resolution and without clutter), that would be much easier to implement with much better results.
Thank you -
@Filip_K Hi, thank you for mentioning the problem.
https://data.cma.cn/radar is probably a better choice. You can get access to the radar metadata by visiting http://data.cma.cn/en, then clicking Data Service/radar. It should appear on the right side.

@Filip_K Hello, sorry to bother you, I found a more detailed radar image released by the Chinese government (please excuse me, this is still in Chinese) http://www.weather.com.cn/radar/
It should have a higher resolution, hope it will help you -
@しけ-よう this looks very usable, thank you

@Filip_K (Machine translation may not be accurate, sorry)
Hello, I'm sorry to disturb you. This website can also query the weather radar signals in China. (http://data.cma.cn/dataGis/static/gridEng/#/)
If you think this website is not useful, I will look for some related websites to provide you. (Rainviewer's radar data in China seems to have recovered)
Many meteorological enthusiasts in China are expecting the weather radar data to be online again. After all, it has helped a lot.
Thank you for your efforts
