Formerly good site...
-
Hello,
Why has someone let the "expletive" marketers in? If it has bee determined that the formerly good Windy site needs to charge to keep the service going, why not a reasonable price? Instead we get this gobbledygook bilge about what a deal Windy was at $29.99 / year and is now an even better deal at $18.99 / year. So, exactly what has changed to make the former Windy that much better? Why the "expletive" marketer hype? Why not a more reasonable price of $10 vice slamming us former "free" users into paying $19? I would hope there is someone reasonable there at Windy who can figure out it's better to have a lot of subscribers at a low price than fewer at the higher price. If you fired that (those?) "expletive" marketers, there would be a nice tidy little sum to use for actual service. Service, what a novel idea...
This family is quite stressed with current bills and cost-of-living inflation. Give this family a reasonable price and we can consider it. In case no one at Windy has noticed, there are more than a few of us that just plain don't like EXPLETIVE MARKETERS.P.S. - If whomever reads this is some type forum whatever, send it on up to someone else. I am not in the mood for some back-and-forth tiddlywinks conversation.

@pasmith Hello, I would like to point out that the price for Premium hasn't gone up to stay affordable for a broad public. To answer your question about how Premium got better, for instance, we added 3 completely new features: Satellite archive, extended forecast in the Compare tool, and increased forecast maps' resolution.
Along with this, we moved some of the features to Premium only to thank our subscribers for their fantastic support and offer them something more.
Majority of our features continue to stay free, we are not forcing anyone to purchase Premium.
