Developers read the forum posts.

Tropical waves are not plotted by weather models but by meteorologists as you can see on pages 21 to 23 of this document:
https://severeweather.wmo.int/TCFW/RAIV_Workshop2016/04_TropicalWaves_JohnCangialosi.pdf.
It is a similar question to plotting weather fronts in mid latitudes which are not provided by weather models.
So there is about no chance that Windy can show tropical waves
