Developers read the forum posts.Tropical waves are not plotted by weather models but by meteorologists as you can see on pages 21 to 23 of this document:

It is a similar question to plotting weather fronts in mid latitudes which are not provided by weather models.
So there is about no chance that Windy can show tropical waves -
