These are not clouds.<br />

This glitch can be seen on “Visible” rendering too not only on “Blue” as you show (see the 3 dots at right in the mobile app)<br />
Visible is the addition of images in visible spectrum (in day time areas) and in infrared spectrum (in night time areas).<br />
It seems that this artefact is seen when the combined picture is switching from night to day.<br />
But it is just my guess.</p>

Activate the "Airports" layer - all the little coloured circles have reported conditions for the last couple of hours.</p>
<p dir="auto">METAR is a report made by the aerodrome instrumentation<br />
TAF is a forecast issued for that particular aerodrome</p>
