North Sea satellite images

Can anyone explain the satellite images in these snapshots that I took this morning? These are not clouds.

@gkr1959 Some of the METAR data available in the sea there are showing Mist and Drizzle. Activate the "Airports" layer - all the little coloured circles have reported conditions for the last couple of hours.
METAR is a report made by the aerodrome instrumentation
TAF is a forecast issued for that particular aerodromeHope that helps!

This glitch can be seen on “Visible” rendering too not only on “Blue” as you show (see the 3 dots at right in the mobile app)
Visible is the addition of images in visible spectrum (in day time areas) and in infrared spectrum (in night time areas).
It seems that this artefact is seen when the combined picture is switching from night to day.
But it is just my guess.
