There’s a minor bug in the timeline in the Windy app. The yellow line that should mark the current time doesn’t; it’s off by four hours. (See the first attached screen shot, and note the actual time in the upper-left corner of the screen.) And if I set the time to 0:00, this should line up with the black/gray divider between dates, but it doesn’t; again, it’s off by four hours.

The actual indicated times seem to be correct; in other words, if I set the timeline to 1300 hours, it seems to show me the forecasted weather for 1300 hours. The offset to UTC is correct. It’s just the yellow line and the dividers between dates that are off. It’s a minor thing, I know, but it’s a bit annoying. 😊

@mgfrye Hello, what was your position when you taken the screenshot?
You're using the option to show all times in UTC, this means app will show the current time of your location + UTC time, no matter where you position the map.

If you unselect this option in the setting, you will see the current time for the specific location you see on the map.

@Korina - My position was central California, so Pacific Standard Time. The time shown on in the upper-left corner of the first screen shot was the correct local time.

You’re right, deselecting the option to display all times in UTC corrects this issue, but I’d prefer to see the UTC time so that I know what the correct time is anywhere in the world, and in the past the yellow line indicating the current time, and the line delineating the days, have appeared in the right places, even with the option to display all times in UTC was selected.

Hi @mgfrye, we already forwarded this issue to colleagues as a bug. Thank you for reporting this.
