I have upgraded to premium and followed the instructions for the alerts. I cant get any notifications on my phone when the conditions are met. Case in point, I had 40MPH winds and a weather advisory in place yesterday and I was not notified. I basically set all the atmospheric conditions to notify me on any weather event. But I am getting none.

Also is there no ongoing notification option? I have to roll back to shadow weather to get this in place.

Ahh. That may be the reason. I didnt realize it was an AND. So can I set one for each essentially making it an OR?

Is there a way to get national weather alerts? On going notification?

Have you set several parameters for your alert? Wind, temperature, rain…
If you did it, you need to understand that your conditions for wind AND your conditions for temperature AND your conditions for rain must be happening all at same time. So there is about no chance to get an alert !
Try to set only wind, delete all the other parameters and save your setting at bottom of page.
If you want to set several parameters, set several alerts at close distance from each other. Remember that ECMWF resolution is 9km, so with 4 or 5km distance you don’t lose accuracy.
