      I'd like to have multiple layers turned on at once.

      I'm new to Windy and still trying to find my way around, but it seems that only a couple layers can be turned on at the same time. And a lot/most of them, are ONE at a time.

      This makes for a lot of clicking back and forth, and leads to frustration in trying to visualize how maybe one set of data is interacting with another. Or indeed just being able to see the information I'd like to see in ONE glance as opposed to several.

      Is there a way to leave layers turned ON until the user wants to turn them OFF?

      Thanks.

        @Bill-Salopek Hello, what layers would you like to have overlayed? This option is not possible.

          @Korina might be a cool thing to consider for future development - the ability to setup a 4-panel view of different visualizations for example.

          Something like this:

          Just a thought :D

            I was just looking for a thread like this. I would love to overlay more than 2 layers, not including the 4 isoline choices. I know it's not as simple as just saying" OK, let's do it" but, it would be nice to layer 3 or 4 maps at once.

              @toddmpeterson

              Hi, adding isolines or graphical symbols like wind barbs is possible. But if you mean displaying 3 or 4 color shaded overlays, this is impossible. Even a mix of 2 layer gives disappointing results.
              The solution shown by @Wheats would be the best.

                @idefix37 Yeah. Probably right. I never really thought about the colors contrasting with each other.

                  @Korina The main overlay a lot of users would like to have is Satellite & Radar please.

                  Another layer which would benefit users is Satellite & Rain overlay so that forecasters can confirm if Models are aligning with weather events.

                  Thanks @Korina :)

                    @anthony10 Good thought, I like this idea. This would be very useful.

                      I would like to see Radar and Satellite on the same overlay as well as a graphical overlay with temperature. The windstreams would be a nice touch too but not necessary

                      Similar to Wundermap, however I don't like their satellite image as it includes some sort of radar that doesn't match up with their radar layer.

                        @edDishN-cibSadpDj

                        This is already available in Windy !
                        You just have to click on Reported temperature or Reported wind to show them with Satellite or Radar layers.
                        Here in Celsius and knots:

                            @Wheats

                            I submitted a proposal along the same lines last year.

                            Fingers are crossed if a working concept comes to fruition in the near future.

                              @Bill-Salopek I like the way Ventusky does some overlays. It could be something simple for Windy to add?

                                  I have seen that some other portals have overlay of Satellite & Radar.
                                  This is really good as you can get more precise and accurate image.

                                  Here I can not find the way to do it so it seems that all above conversation about it didn't encourage change.

                                    Radar + Satellite is available on Windy browser version.
                                    Not yet in the mobile app.

                                      I would also like to see multiple non-conflicting layers. For example Tidal Currents and Radar+. Wind gusts and Currents, etc. Even Satellite and Radar, as other site do.
