In connection with the distortion of the state borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the meteorological company "Windy" (www.windy.com), we request that appropriate amendments be made on the interactive map in compliance with the territorial integrity of our country.
We would like to remind you that the distortion of the territorial boundaries of a sovereign state is a gross violation of international law. -

Stefan here from 79798 Jestetten, Germany. At first I wanted to thank You for Your incredible engagement! I don't know whether I'm right here. I wanted to report that it was 2°C around CET lunchtime and now it's 2,5°C both directly in front of my 100 years old living room window facing south with a modern central heating radiator inside the room underneath the window which is opposed to 4°C shown in Your (brilliant) application! Only now the sun is just about to break through holes in the clouds (also different in the app)! I don't know whether little differences like are worth bothering You. Hello,
These differences cannot matter because Windy visualises weather models and Windy cannot make any changes to them.
You compare the forecast with the temperature reported from you thermometer near your window. I guess you used the default model ECMWF with a 9km resolution.
Have you compare the forecasts of all models available in your area ?
Particularly ICON-D2 and AROME with both a higher resolution ?
Compare the forecasts with the local weather stations. Select Reported temperature and click on a weather station to see how the different model forecasts match with the observed temperature.
