Cyclone Judy keeps strengthening

Judy has strengthened into a Category 3 cyclone after barreling through much of Port Vila, Vanuatu's capital. Cyclone brought destructive winds causing some material damage. Heavy rain triggered floods and inundated their homes.
The maximum winds were around 150 km/h and gusts 200km/h.
New Caledonia is next in Judy's path and could be affected. The storm now travels southeast with maximum winds of 201 km/h.

Cyclone Judy, a category 1 storm, continues approaching Vanuatu while gaining additional strength. It is expected to intensify into a category 3 cyclone in the following hours and reach Vanuatu's capital Port Vila on Wednesday.
Judy has maximum sustained winds of 121 km/h. The gale-force winds are affecting the northern provinces of Torba, Sanma, Penama, and Malampa. Life-threatening flooding and mudslides from heavy rains and stormsurge are likely to occur.
