Precipitation amounts VERY difficult to read

As displayed in the image the text is nearly impossible to read; an outline font or background block or possibly a medium shade of green or red. Blue is a very hard color for the eye to depict.
The precipitation bars are always occur with clouds; so using a dark font color is very problematic against the dark cloud layers.
