Metar for major airport

I am struggling to find the Metar and TAF for FAOR. This is a major Southern Africa airport. So why won’t it show

@bryanwbelcher I tried searching for faor and these are the results

Clicking the first result gives me this METAR, TAF and meteogram

Yes, but ....
If you click "airports" ...

you get back Tambo Int'l Airport with a location indicator FAJS (wrong) instead of FAOR.

Because of this, when we click on airport's circle
we get "no METAR found"

@Gkikas-LGPZ As a temporary fix, I suggest using different layers like: reported temp.

or reported wind.

And when getting the weather history in the weather station details the correct ICAO code ( FAOR ) appears.

It seems that the airports layer data update slower than the other layers.

Hi @bryanwbelcher @Gkikas-LGPZ we are aware of issues in Airport codes in the map, and we are talking about the potential fix in the near future.

However, I would recommend, as a temporary solution, searching this airport in the search field and adding it to the favourites, it will save the correct airport with METAR data, etc.
