Incorrect Wave direction in Route Planner

I was using Route Planner recently to evaluate a transit at sea. I had the ECMWF wave model turned on and when I used the route planner, it showed the waves being out of the west at 5 ft.

But, when I queried that same spot outside of route planner, it showed the same height of seas, but that they would be coming out of the NE. Based on other information, the model detail is accurate per the model, while the route planner is not. Route planner seems to be showing completely different wave directions.

@fosojedi Hello, your screenshot below is from the 3h forecast view. Did you also compare the 1hr view?

Where have your seen that Route planner is not accurate ?

Your issue about Waves direction is probably due to a wrong reference direction for wind and waves. See More option and set the reference direction (wind barbs) to North up.
