I would like to see the longest range forecast for the jet stream over the North Atlantic UK and N & W Europe as it may make the longer range weather forecast more relevant for us sailors

Jet-stream forecast is already available. With the Wind layer you just need to set the Altitude slider at 300hPa or 250hPa.
