However, the fact that it defaults to a great circle with no rhumb line option makes this impossible.  Most vessels use rhumb line when crossing from Med to caribbean, not having this planning option effectively rules windy out for planning purposes.  Please can this option be added?</p>

Hi,<br />
Right now there is no way to plot directly a route along a rhumb line (i.e. at constant headings) between 2 points instead of a great circle route (i.e. the shorter route).<br />
But you can place several waypoints yourself on the rhumb line -&gt; On a Mercator projection map as Windy maps, all your waypoints just need to be placed on a straight line as I did here below. Use a ruler on your screen. You may display the lat lon grid to help placing your waypoints with regular spacing (see Settings).</p>
