      Hello
Something is wrong here. If I use the "Distance and Planning" tool to make a plan, then it shows the route in a length below, and the forecast weather conditions per waypoint / per hour.
I use it for the sailboat.
The mistake: The wind directions absolutely do not match any of the weather models. For example, the Distance and Planning tool tells me that there will be a SE-wind at 14:00. But if I look at exactly this location at this time with Windy (without the tool) and display all wind forecasts from all models, then all models say that there will be more of a NW-wind. But the wind speed is right.
do you know the problem Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Yes, we know what you mean but it is not a bug as you assume.
This happens because your wind direction reference is probably wrong in your settings.
See “More option” at left side of the forecast panel and set Wind barbs to North up.
