How to display the timeline
-
How can I get the timeline and color scale back? It displays when I first start Windy but I can’t see how to display it or make it sticky.

@patrick-randall
Which device do you use? Desktop? Or phone, with which app? Could you show a screenshot ? -
To get the timeline and color scale back on Windy, you can try the following steps: 1. On the Windy website or app, locate the settings menu. This is usually represented by an icon that looks like a gear or three horizontal lines. 2. Click or tap on the settings menu to open it. 3. Look for an option related to the timeline or color scale. It might be labeled as "Timeline," "Legend," or "Color Key." 4. Click or tap on the option to enable or display the timeline and color scale. 5. If there is a "sticky" or "pin" option available, activate it to keep the timeline and color scale visible at all times, even when scrolling or zooming on the map.

@davinamartin
What you say is just a general explanation of what is generally done on the web or in apps. Or is it an exercise with ChatGPT?
Have you ever used Windy? If so, would you provide more specific information.
There is no way to show the timeline in the settings or in the menu. The timeline appears automatically, but at the moment there is an issue with some versions of mobile devices. -
Same problem
I think I found a bug: When I open the app, the timelaps arrow appears on the map below. If I now open the forecast for a selected location and then go back, the arrow is gone. It also doesn't appear again if I select a different layer (e.g. thunderstorm or weather radar). The problem does NOT occur when I close the small prediction window for the selected location with the cross. Then the timelaps arrow remains. It only occurs when I simply "go back" one step (swipe). Latest version The problem is the same for me and my husband. (Unfortunately the same mobile phone).

@wmella-0 We are aware of this bug and it is already forwarded to colleagues, so I would like to ask you for a patience about the fix. The temporary solution is to use our button to move in the app, since this is cause by the system button on Android devices as you mentioned.
Thank you for understanding.
