Adding Hi Res ACCESS C Weather Model
-
Hi,
It would benefit weather forecasters and weather enthusiasts in Australia greatly if the high resolution ACCESS C model was added to windy.
This model is similar to the ACCESS G Model, but it has a 1.5km resolution. The ACCESS C model is for all capital cities in Australia.
This model is fantastic for storm, rain, and wind forecasting.
Here are some details here if anyone on the Windy team likes the idea:

It's not a bad idea. This model is very accurate and also if this model is to come out, the global ACCESS-G model should also be added as well.

I like and would support the implementation of this model (use it regularly professionally).
I have a feeling it may not be cheap. -

I'd also like to add my vote for more ACCESS models.
Another good point to add BoM data is that it has a global forecast called:
ACCESS-G Global (approx 25km) 6 hourly to 240 hours (10 days).
ACCESS-R Regional (approx ~12km) 3 hourly to 72 hours (3 days).
ACCESS-C+ Cities (approx ~4km) 1 hourly to 36 hours (1.5 days)

@Liam-pankhurst I second this idea

@Liam-pankhurst I would also VERY much want ACCESS-C model added to Windy, especially as we (Australia) head into summer.
I believe the reason why Windy hasn't added this model is due to cost.
But I'm hopeful :)
