      Hi,

How can I predict when/if the wind will be westbound (from the east) between two points/cities, during a time range, on a specific date?

As this is a forecast, there is usually a confidence interval.
How can I come up with generalization(s) about wind direction that generally hold true most of the time?
For example, most of the time:

      • Wind is eastbound (from the west) in Ontario, Canada
      • In the summer time, wind speed is generally slower at night time than during the day

      Thanks for any pointers/advice!
