Your message is not clear as your posted a text content different from the title !I can answer only the tittle:

In fact it depends on the sea bed and coast line shapes. In deep waters and with a straight coast line the information is quite good, but not so much in shallow waters or in bays inducing possible higher stream and counter currents.
