What is the reason for different prices?

Hi,
I would currently like to buy an annual subscription.
I want to use the app on iOS and macOS (browser).At the moment I see two different prices (18,99 € p.a. in the browser and 20,99 € in the app).
What is the difference? And does the purchase via the browser work?
Do I have to register again?Thanks in advance for the help.

This due to the fact that no other payment service is allowed on Iphone other than Apple Pay which have related to it some extra cost (basically Apple wanting a bigger cut of the transaction).
Basically what they are doing is set a specific price and the adjust it so Windy's cut is always the same, no matter the place you but it from.
There is no difference in the service. -

Apple tax - I thought it with already.So can I subscribe normally outside the appstore and then log in to the app as premium?

@dividedbyzero from my understanding, yes.
This is the same for other services like Netflix or Floatplane. You basically buy the service on a computer and then since it is connected to your account you can use it elsewhere.Unfortunately for you but luckly for me :) (I hate those kind of policies), I don't have an Iphone so I cannot test this on my own to make sure it is as I say.

I had to activate the premium status via the web login with order no. and then re-register in the iOS app.
