I upgraded to premium to get access to longer forecasts but the current forecast is over a much shorter timeframe. Currently it is down to about a day. Is there a reason for this? Can you update and extend the current forecast?

ECMWF or GFS forecasts are 10 days for Premium. Could you show a screenshot that shows you only have a one day forecast.
