      Hallo,

      Alex

Oh thank you, that’s easy! I saw no indication that I can swipe 😂 by phone.

I mean the forecast data in the screenshots.

              So now:

I understand you want to underline the discrepancy between temperature forecasts and reported temperatures at weather stations. Taking the example of the Dubaï Airport weather station and the temperature forecast at same point, we can see the reported temperatures are higher than the predicted ones.

The reason is probably due to the proximity of the sea. Near the seashore the weather models accuracy depends on the position of their grid points, some on the sea and some on the land.
If you use the Observation vs forecast feature as shown here above, you see that ECMWF is 3°C lower at noon. This is probably because Windy interpolates the values at grid points and some of them are above the sea.
This is shown by the position of GFS grid points at Dubai displayed by https://spotwx.com/ . You see that 3 of them are above the sea, which gives a lower temperature at interpolation.

I would recommend Meteoblue in point forecast panel. This model provide a corrected temperature on seashore.

That’s a great answer and fantastic explanation. Thank you so much!

                  Sunny regards
