quick menu display orientation

Hi, In the MS Edge browser - the quick menu has changed from a vertical orientation to a horizontal one. In the Chrome browser - (same Windy Premium account) the quick menu is in a vertical orientation. How do you control the orientation of the quick menu? I want to revert it to vertical.

Click on the small arrow at right end.
Turn off Expert mode at bottom of right menu, then click the arrow again.
