Forecast isn't given for where I tapped on map

This bug has been around for years: zoom in to a point on the map and tap the point where you want a forecast for. Note the pin always shows in the same place: center horizontally and about a quarter of the way down from the top.
In the screenshot attached I have zoomed into the Seaplane Basin. It's in the middle of the map. I tap of the words Seaplane Basin and witness where it put the pin. This happens every time.
The expected behavior is that the pin is dropped where I tapped or - at least - dropped in the middle of the map and not at some weird place near the top of the screen

All you have to do is moving the map under the picker !
This behavior was chosen because on the small screens of phones, it is not possible to get an exact position of the picker with your finger. You get more precision when dragging the map. -
@davemyron Even worse for my Samsung tablet with Opera browser, forevast is popping up and then pufff disappear. What is trying to do Windy, to force people to install their app? No, mno.
