Interpolated data or...?

I checked various conditions in Bakhmut, Ukraine. There would no sensors there due to war destruction, but values are still showing. Are they interpolated? Otherwise how would data be there? I would think there should be some "holes" in the data that would appear? Also true in some very remote sub-saharan African regions. thanks!

Hi @kevbo1950 we take data from forecast models, such as ECMWF, GFS, ICON,... that have their own technology about determining the forecast for certain locations.
