Option to disable audio in web app?
-
When looking at Weather Radar, Windy appears to keep an audio stream open for lightning strikes.
In Windows' Admin PowerShell:
powercfg /requests SYSTEM: [DRIVER] Intel® Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth® Audio (INTELAUDIO\CTLR_DEV_51C8&LINKTYPE_03&DEVTYPE_00&VEN_8086&DEV_AE30&SUBSYS_0B541028&REV_0001\5&2fd6745e&0&0000) An audio stream is currently in use.
This causes headaches with at least my, perhaps others', multi-point headphones' connection. If I pause music on my phone, resuming playback on my phone results in muted music until I close the browser that I have Weather Radar open in. I've tested this behavior in both Chrome (114.0.5735.110) and Firefox (114.0).
I realize this is a pretty minor issue, but it took a bit for me to find what I think is the root cause so I figured I should at least document it here. I think an audio disable option in the Web App would prevent this from occurring.

So if I understand this correctly, your music is automatically pausing because of lightnings, or the issue is the fact that you hear lightnings from Windy during listening to the music? If you want to pause the sound in Windy, it is possible:
