Radar smoothing

Re: Be able to turn radar smoothing off
I am a retired meteorologist and live in the tornado belt. I subscribe to Weathertap for it's radar products which are exceptional. Weathertap radar is worth the price as it allow me to protect my home and loved ones around the country by providing a wide ranging list of products and capabilities in a timely manner. I have used the free version of windy for years and recently decide to start a subscription to find out if Windy had anything close to Weathertap, sadly it didn't. The subscription to Windy is, however, a good bargain and has many great features and the visualizations are very good and helpful. The visualizations pertaining to Radar with smoothing cannot depict a hook echo and radial velocity is necessary to pinpoint rotational anomalies. I would happily pay more for my subscription if it included weather ready radar, until then I will keep Weathertap and Windy. Thanks for the real time lightning it does help with spotting tornadoes, and thanks for the pretty pictures.
