automatically adjusted min/max map legend to zoom level

I don‘t know how difficult it is to implement, but I think it would allow a more detailed and better readability if the map legend (the color coding) would automatically adjust to the visible zones related to the zoom level someone is at.
For example in a global view I may have windspeeds from 0 to 60 knots visible, but if I zoom in to a smaller area, I have only windspeeds from 0-15 knots.
But the map legend always stays the same.
