      I don’t care for the radar view I find them very limited. The current radar view when you select radar and satellite is going good if you want to minutes ago which is ok but it doesn’t give you future radar of moving storms… other apps allow you to select past and future… plz add that feature

        @carlos-armas
        Real weather radars don’t predict future rain !
        These apps just move the last radar picture in the same direction and distance as during the last hours.
        Look at the radar picture 3 hours before current time and move it. For stormy conditions you would not get a correct rain prediction.

        3 hours later

        The pseudo radar picture doesn’t match with real rainfall.
        These apps assume that the pattern of rainfall distribution remains constant and only translates which is wrong specially in stormy weather.

          @carlos-armas For the rain radar, time horizon is key. As explained by @idefix37, if you are looking to get accurate data 2-3 hours in advance, forget it. In non stormy conditions, you can get relatively accurate data 30-45 minutes before the rain. But it also depends what you want to know exactly. If you are only interested to know if it s going to rain over your place, so basically yes or no, or if you want to know the quantities of rain (total in mm) you will get. The second option is very often inaccurate
