      We noticed a big discrepancy lately in the forecast accuracy. Yesterday we were sailing in the South Tyrrhenian and we were expecting 9-16 knots from NW but for most part of the navigation we had almost no wind and the little wind was coming from the opposite direction (South). See attached pictures

        In weak wind conditions, global models are not so good at predicting the direction and speed of wind. Specially with thermal breezes. Did you try the other models available in this area?
