Hurricane Tracking View

I really like the hurricane tracking in general, but the left-side menu could be half the size and it would be better. It takes up almost half the width of my iPad, and is mostly white space. About a quarter of the screen on my Mac. It is a waste, makes me zoom out to fit an entire track in the screen, and would be much better if I could make it disappear while I am trying to track the hurricane, which should be the focus of the screen.
Really like Windy. Sometimes it seems to forget the weather is the star and the UI should get out of the way.
