For long range (above 3 days) the GFS seems to work best. Switching to ECMWF for 2-3 day forecast, as it offers better precision. ICON models just for comparison.

Based on East coast Baltic sea, main usage wind, waves and cloud cover.

I use ECMWF simply because it gives me very reliable results. I originally chose it because it uses the highest resolution, but I keep it because it delivers. I have fiddled a bit with the other models, especially with the help of the model comparison tool, but ECMWF generally matches best with what I see out my window.

I use ECMWF mostly, occasionally use Compare to get a feel for possible different outcomes. While I'm here, I also much prefer the "Meteog" view over "Basic". Would it be possible to allow users the option to make that the default? Thanks for absolutely the best weather app ever!

I am in Australia and use the Access model which has a low resolution. I would be interested to see if other models give a more accurate picture.

I sail in the Mediterranean and use ECMWF the most closely followed by meteoblue because I find them the most accurate.

I typically use the ECMWF model for the Salish Sea, but I also check the other models when needed. When traveling to places like Fiji, I use all of the models to see what seems to be best.
