@Korina Out here in Boston I'll often use the comparative model screen when my fiance and I are making our weekend plans. I'm usually looking at GFS, but I'll be honest, ECMWF seems to be able to forecast rain correctly much farther out than the others. I have to subdue my fiance's groan of forecasted rain by saying, "...but that's just the European model!!!"

@Korina I'm mostly in France, Arôme works the best for me.
          Cheers!

I use the ECMWF in conjunction with GFS for SW Va for short term forecasting. The ECMWF is pretty accurate! NOAA needs work 😆.

@Korina ECMWF is the real OG for Venice metropolitan area. I commute to work by bicycle and that model has saved me multiple times. Rock on! \m/

For Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada I find the ECMWF model supplemented by the HRRR model best. HRRR is far superior for forecasting temperature.

@Korina I have logged over 290000nm delivering yachts to destinations all over the world. I have been using Windy since it's inception. I prefer the ECMWF model.

@Korina I use the NAM for short time more accurate and will compare with the ECM MODEL.

Thanks for a great app! I use mostly ECMWF as it seems to match well for the Nordic countries. I also use TAF & Metar for closest airport when I need more specific predictions in a smaller timeframe.

@Korina My most used model is ECMWF, followed by NAM. Just seems most useful. :)

@Korina for Germany ICON D2 has proven to be the most accurate for this location.

@Korina I use the ECMWF model for the most part. It's great to have options though!!!
I also compare actuals to the current forecast models and see which one has been trending the closest to actuals and I'll make decisions weighted by that comparison.

I primarily use EMCWF just because it's the default here, but I will usually click through all that are available (at least GFS) in advance of significant weather to get an idea of how much consensus there is (or isn't).
